Real low mile dentside!

Cruising around on craigslist searching for a 78-79 to buy i stumbled on this truck. Says it only has 926 miles on it. Haven't called the guy or anything to question him about it, but wow how can someone really let something sit that much. Either way it could be a cool truck for someone! Thought i'd share with you guys.

1976 Ford F-350 Dually ( Only 926 original Miles) Lower Price!

I think that might be an FTE member's truck. Seems like I've seen it on here before...

That would be a great truck to put my dump bed on, and only a few hours away. But, I can do alot of fixing of my truck for $15,000.

Duct tape on seat cover, floor mat is filthy, wear on brake pedal, rubber hood seal missing on fire wall, rust on lower lip of fire wall, rims aren't original cup and cone or split rim, wheel bearing cap missing, master cylinder appears to be painted, no inspection marks from assembly line, tires should be cracked and dry rotted, Don't worry, there's more plus he's allready fishing to sell a rust free arizona truck. Be careful, very careful, sure like this zoom option in my tool bar, more people should find theirs and use it.

Apparently the younger folks are unawares the odometer simply rolls back over to 000000 once it hits 100000?

Farmers don't buy implements (and that's what a 350 pickup is) to sit around.

I was thinking the same thing on it. Be cautious but you never know I suppose, def. one that would have to be looked over closely before buying!

Yep I was wondering the same thing if it had possibly rolled over. It doesn't quite seem clean enough for that low of miles imo.

That must have been a rough 926 miles.

Buyer Beware

There is more, such as no pto on a farm truck with a box????. Has a rear tire hanger but no 50 gallon side fuel tank on the drivers side, should have a manual lever switch on the floor near the seat back. My 78 has less rust and it got retired at 86,000 miles, there's rust on inner fender by hood hinge. Like the tutone air filter housing. Guy up here was trying to sell a rust bucket with only 35,000 miles on it last year, he found his sucker of the minute. I'd bring a hot chick with me just to distract him while I take a video of the truck and him. These new fangled phones and ripped shirt pockets come in handy. FYI I used to buy and sell furniture and whatever I could justify putting in the warehouse. I'm also the guy who stands in the back of the crowd at auctions and runs up the bids, that's why auctioneers thank me for coming even if I buy nothing.

From the looks of things, it has 100,926 miles, not 926 miles. When the odometer passes 99,999.9 miles .. it returns to ZERO!

What is the decal/ emblem underneath the F-350 emblem?

I agree with the guys saying odometers roll over... but they also come apart, really easily. When I was in college I did a reverse engineering project on a speedometer cluster out of a '62 Chevrolet Impala. You can roll the little wheels around to say whatever you want.

Like to see what's under the seat cover.

steering wheel and column seem to have a lot of wear to them, the floor mat is pretty dirty on the passenger side as well and why put a seat cover on a seat that only has 926 miles ?
