7.3 IDI turbo options

Okay so the factory Garret turbo on my 94 IDI has a serious bend in the one of the fins of the cold (compressor?) wheel. I also think the bearings are shot although I'm not sure how to tell. So here are my questions:

1) How do I tell if the bearings are shot

2) Can I fix the bent fin or is this 1993 1994 Ford 7 3L IDI Turbo Diesel Site Billet Wicked Wheel 2 Wwidi | eBay a good option?

3) If I decided to buy a new/used turbo, what would be the best option?
--a) a used aftermarket banks
--b) a used factory garret
--c) a used ATS kit
--d) This BD Diesel 466533 9001 B Exchange Turbo Fit Ford 92 94 7 3L IDI | eBay

Thanks all

Yeah, the one on EBay is just stupid money. I just replaced mine with one with a bigger elbow and even larger downpipe for just over half what the one on EBay is going for... Complete rip off...

Any opinions on that Wicked wheel? I've also heard of guys opening up the elbow and downpipe for better airflow besides some added whistle I'd be interested in doing that.

Talk with Justin(idiperformance.com) or Typefour/Russ.
Basically, they can go over the various options, prices etc, and what you can expect to get out of things.
