Been a few weeks not sense getting rear ended.

The silly little girl driver hit my rear end. She tagged my hitch
and the bumper. I'll upgrade the hitch from a Class IV to a Class V.

My real question is what's out there in rear bumpers that are sort of
somewhat stock with some added lighting?

I also have park assist on mine and right now it chrome.
The new hitch will be a B&W so it has to work with that also.

Thanks for the help.

One other question for you to ponder.

They should offer an option to texting drivers. Have a camera mounted to the front of their vehicle with a split screen on their phone so they can see where they're going while texting.

I know weathertech sells a bump/step that fits in the hitch. I believe I've seen them available with backup lights and/or brake light. Plugs into the trailer plug.

This one you have to wire a plug for it to work. It adds an extra brake light. But, if a person was inclined to do so, you could get fancy with one and wire a plug that fits the factory trailer plug, and add a couple backup lights too.

When I had my 04 Silverado (Green) I was at a stop sign waiting for traffic to clear on Hwy59 with a Prius stopped behind me (they had been behind me for two miles at this point). She was stopped so close to me that I couldn't see any part of her car, so there's no way she couldn't help but see my truck. Yet she still gunned it right into me as I started to pull onto the highway.

Her front passenger side was ruined (I was shocked at just much of it had collapsed from such a short-distance impact), but my rear bumper wasn't even scratched- so I lucked out on that one. Just never underestimate what others will do :P

Good luck with your hunt for parts,

I got hit by a Ford Focus. She jumped right of center as she made contact
with the hitch and right rear bumper and twisted it under. I have marks
on the tire where contact was also made, I am going to let the body shop
have a look at that one. I'll have my tire shop pull the spare tire and check it.

When you are not needing to tow, put this in the receiver hitch, it is called a Super Bumper and it protects your stock rear bumper from rear enders and is very noticeable to the vehicle following behind you. Comes in Chrome too.

Thanks for all the ideas.
But I was looking for a replacement aftermarket bumper that
had the park assist and room for some backup lights.

From the way she went under and to the right. It is likely
that she would of still hit the bumper.

So other than Ranch Hand who else?
