I'm almost done with the motor, we installed a Comp cam, Comp timing chain, Comp lifters & pushrods, HV oil pump, Pertronix Flamethower Distributor, coil, wires, all new seals gaskets, edlebrock performer, No carb or fuel pump yet, just need to change a couple seals on the C6, paint bolt it all up and stick it back in and hope it runs. You'll notice I installed the new waterpump & manifold before putting the hose on, so the water pump needs to come back off..crap!!

Bummer about the water pump, but other than that You have to be getting excited, I really like the color scheme on the motor, the Edelbrock logo in white just sets it off for me. If it runs half as good as it looks you better synch up you seat belt. Nice job.

That intake must save 50 lbs compared to the stocker! Try lifting one over the fenders, UGH! Hope it runs as good as it looks!

Looks great!
Hope you have plenty of break in lube on the lobes and break in oil ready to go, regular oil isnt what it used to be. Breaking in new flat tappet cams make me nervous big time anymore.

Love it. Great to see something besides a 302 or a 350 in one
