Water pump for 390
Stopped by O'Reilly's today to see what they had as far as water pumps for my 390 in my 76 Highboy. I'm rebuilding the motor and didn't want to reinstall the remanufactured water pump that was on it, even though it was working fine and not leaking. It was rusty and dirty. They had a remanufactured MasterPro in stock for 15.99. Can't beat the price. So, I asked if I could see it. Found a nice surprise when I opened the box. The metal casting is a from a 1969 Ford auto engine, with new bearings and impeller, etc. So, I know the metal is good. Anyone know about the quality of MasterPro? Appears it was remanufactured in Mexico.
