Its funny this thread came up. I was having issues starting by bronco all summer. I always parked on a hill to pop start it. Then one day pop starting didn't work.

I pulled the terminals to clean them.......
Negative terminal still had the plastic cap on it. I have been fixing problems from the previous owner for 3 years but this topped the cake. I still dont know how it EVER started
