At the end of the day I'm usually covered in grease, rust, and all other manner of dirt from work. With the Vinyl interior I can wipe it off and it looks just like new. Cloth would get stained.

I have an XL with a vinyl floor and cloth seats but I wish I would've ordered it with vinyl seats. Fast & Foamy cleaner had saved my but quite a few times with stains.

The poll was which do you PREFER correct?

I prefer cloth, but have leather.

I prefer the breathe-ability of cloth. Cooler, less sticking, etc.

I like the look and feel of leather. So far I'm happy with my new Platinum leather. At least it's perforated, so it can breathe, and the seats are cooled so that helps.

I really liked the seats in my 2003 Lightning. Suede and perforated leather. Kinda like cloth, but kinda like leather LOL! Best of both worlds.

I miss that thing.

Well my plan is to find either seats to swap, or what I'd like to do more is find a full set of gray oem cloth covers i can buy, so i can remove my leather ones and put the cloth, and i can then either sell the leather, or hold onto it incase i ever want it back on. Found a set of front covers on ebay (oem ones) but no rears.

any aftermarket companies that make GOOD fitting cloth covers that fit OVER the stock covers? And i mean really good tight fitting covers. That i wouldn't mind doing.

I have leather in my Lariat but prefer cloth.
I always cover with sheepskin anyway, so it doesn't make too much difference, except that the leather doesn't have much give to it.

Leather gets really hot here in the southwest. We had it on our F150 and put seat covers on.

Ok guys i need some guidance here. A few weeks ago i listed my leather seats on Craigslist for trade for cloth. I stupidly didn't put "plus cash". This guy texted me pics of his great condition cloth seats from his 05. Same as mine with dual front power seats, but has a jump seat, not seat armrests + center console like mine.

I was supposed to trade today but i put it off (i actually was busy today so i couldn't have done it today anyhow). Should i text him back and say ill need cash as well? My buddy got me thinking yesterday...he said man i cant believe you wouldn't have asked for cash on his end on top of the deal.

What do you guys think? I kind of like my console also. I like the jump seat but ill miss the console and extra cup holders (i have 2 extra as well, because I put the back piece from an excursion console on my f350 console, so my console now has 4 cup holders)

Tell him u changed your mind you would rather not have the jump seat. And you feel the leathers worth more. That's all. It's your stuff you changed ur mind.

i love the leather in my truck way more than i ever liked the cloth in my old 03 XLT. Loved the leather in my old 09 F450 lariat work truck as well. My friend has a 2015 F350 XLT and the cloth just seems cheap...and nowhere near as comfortable as my 03
