After getting some air out yesterday the truck started easily this morning.

So after my heavy duty water pump, melling LPOP, rebuilt T500, new oil hoses and new IPR, hopefully I will be set for a while!! Pretty sure I will need a ball joint or 2 sometime. I hear popping in the front end sometimes.

Great job! Thanks for reporting back.

So... does it fire off quicker than recently with the bad HPOP?

Was hard to spin tires before. They are wide. Yesyerday I was able to chirp them going into second. Also now it seems like it hits a rev limiter and bounces off. Don't know if that's the limited slip going back and forth or the torque converter slipping. The tranny was rebuilt but its not a heavy duty. I am probably pushing its limits.

Wow!

I have seen this issue a few times with blown seals on HPOPs, oddly enough its always 17 degree pumps. Yours is by far the worst I have even seen. Glad you got it figured out bud! Enjoy!

Nice to see you got it fixed. I would have never thought it would be the seal.
