Changing tunes on sct

I read a post before about switching tunes and the best way to do it. But, I can't seem to find it. I'm going from canned to srl. I think it mentioned about it idling 20-30 min. Anybody know about it?

Some people say to do it warm, some people go back to stock then load a new tune.....

If you're batteries are good and fully charged you should have to do nothing but switch from one tune to the next and drive.

I switch and drive, the only issue I have had is sometimes the a/c won't work. Shut the truck off and start it back all is well. Takes a few miles for the trans to settle down.

That's what I have done before when changing the canned tunes. I think someone was saying the reason to let it idle is to help it learn quicker, but so far I have just changed it and then took off to test it out. Thanks for the help!

I used to reload stock tune to load a new tune, but don't anymore and doesn't seem to effect anything with my truck. It's an XLT though, no fancy hvac controls etc.
