SCT Programmer switch??
I currently have the street tune downloaded in my truck. Im going to be towing something pretty serious in the morning. How exactly do i switch over from the street tune to the tow tune?
Obviously i need to plug in the handheld unit in my OBD2 but after that??

if you've got the X3 and you have the tow tune loaded into it then all you have to do is plug it in to your truck then select tune vehicle then custom tune then select the tune you want to put in your truck and follow the instructions on the screen. it's really easy. since you have a tune loaded onto your truck already it won't take but a couple minutes to flash the other one to your ECM and TCM since you won't have to retrieve your stock tune.

yes because when you go from stock to a custom tune it has to retrieve your stock tune first so that you can return back to stock if needed. but since the stock tune is already saved onto the X3 all you will be doing is flashing the tow tune over the street tune.

IU switched to the tow tune and then back to the street tune with no issues. It was actually easier than i expected. I have never tried the "Race" tune. I think i might try it today. Anyone notice a serious differance? Im just afraid i will get addicted to it!!!
