Does anyone know where i can find a bassani y pipe? or similar?
I have a 1997 f250 hd with the 351w motor. the stock y pipe is apparently restrictive and i heard bassani used to make a y pipe for this one.
Cant find it anywhere online. can someone help me? or is there another company that makes one?
i am looking to redo my exhaust

I used a Bassani 58150B2 Y-pipe with a Magnaflow 59929 3" high flow converter on my old 1992 F350 w/5.8L engine. It was not a plug-n-play installation. I used the extra 3" piping from the Bassani kit to connect to a Magnaflow 12279 muffler and a Walker 45683 universal tail pipe. Great sound, performance and it did not break my wallet.
Minor correction: It's not the y-pipe that is restrictive, it's the factory converter. If you want to a plug-n-play then use a Magnaflow 55213 high-flow converter.

Looking at the Bassani web site, shows none available for the required application. When I got mine a few years back, it was through Late Model Restoration & it took forever.

That Bassani y-pipe will fit just fine as long as you understand it will require a different converter. From the cab forward the F-series trucks and Bronco are essentially the same. The air pump system was long gone on my old '92 plus I was using a modern 3-way converter so I had a neighbor weld the air pipe fitting closed. Worked like a charm.
If the OP's truck is OBD-II then the pipe will need a second O2 sensor bung installed ahead of the converter and a third one behind the converter to keep the CEL off.
