Need some help on a question.

Hey guys i know it been a while since ive been on here. But i always like to read peoples threads. But anyways it was about two weeks ago I was at a car show in my truck it was getting dark out and i had the lights on and I tried honking the horn because i saw a friend and the lights dimmed, and I couldn't get the horn to honk. Could you guys give me some ideas what to check. It has the 3g alternator and big interstate Megatron ii battery. It only does it when I have the lights on.

Thanks.

You horn is probably faulty. The lights dimmed because of the current being drawn by the horn, even though it doesn't work.
