I will be honest , the Only water pumps I have replaced on these , were leaking .
There may be issues I do not know of . VW comes to mind , as does dodge They have Issues with the impellers .Not saying these do not , but , I do not see it .

In the early model year 6.0's - yes, the water pump impellors can become loose and at that point, the pumping is impaired.
