Urgent!!!

I really need some help,

Is this part the same as the IDM

Duralast/Fuel Pump Driver Module DL3420 at AutoZone.com

I hate buying auto zone parts but they think they can get it today and I have to have it running by this weekend!! Its already been out the past two weeks between the starter going out, the IPR going out, and then a severe oil leak from the o-rings on the turbo....

Yes that is an IDM, but do you have a wrecking yard around? I'd bet you can get one cheaper and send yours off for repair.

Just a suggestion...

Unfortunately the wrecking yards around here finding an F250 is like finding gold, you never see them....

What makes you think you need an IDM? If I had a nickel for every IDM that was bought and not needed...

It got in some water (soft spot on a road pulled me into a ditch after a semi passed me on a road way too small for a semi to be driving on) and drive great for a bit then started having problems... Took care of IPR myself, but then the o-rings on the turbo gave out so I took it to a mechanic and he fixed those and when he was done he had another no start and ran the codes and it came up with the codes indicating the IDM (can't remember them now but he showed me and I agreed), ended up not getting the one from autozone (they said it would be here today, ends up today really means Monday) and luckily found one at a junk yard an hour away and got it on there and she's running great now

Glad you got it fixed. Send yours off and have it repaired at swamps. Andy, I heard you moved, but we need another man day event. Maybe Joey? How about Peter, God bless Chet
