EGR valve to fan clutch relationship?

I know I read too many websites. I remember reading something about the EGR valve having something to do with the cooling fan switching on and off.

What is the truth of this? I'm just trying to chase down any potential "gotcha" situations. Hopefully, the motor will be going in soon.

Fan circuit goes thru the EGR valve.

If the valve is unplugged the fan will only achieve about 50% of its rated maximum.

So as long as I leave it plugged in, even though it's not "doing" anything, would that solve the problem?

Yes. There is absolutely no reason to remove and unplug the egr valve

Correct.

And to add the VGT circuit is also effected by the unplugged EGR valve
