Adjust steering wheel higher?

Is there a way to move the wheel higher than the highest setting? I like to keep the seat at its highest and its difficult getting in and out of the truck.

can we have it our way

i have a 2014 King Ranch with memory mirror, seat, steering wheel. when i turn ignition off, the steering wheel moves down towards my legs and forward towards the dash. ends up right on my knees as i turn to get out of the truck. wish it would just stay put on engine shutdown.

Hi elmerfudd51,

Are you referring to the easy entry/exit settings? If so, you can disable that in your information display. For more information, check out page 87 of the third printing of your Owner's Manual. You can download a free digital copy of it here: https://owner.ford.com/tools/account...h-results.html

My 2013 F150 has the easy entry/exit option that moves the steering wheel out of the way and the seat all the way back to leave you plenty of room for get in and out. The reason I do NOT use it is that when it does that it exposes the seat track that is a total shin buster and VERY sharp on the edges.

You can usually find it in your dash settings under settings/vehicle/easy entry/exit screen
