gas powered air compressor ideas

If you want to do it that way... plumb in both the garage and the shop and just coil up a rubber hose to run between the 2 that you can pick up when done.
probably wouldn't hurt to put valves and an air storage tank in the hangar because it all about the volume of air....

There are issues with trenching the line...water condensation will fill the lowest section of line first...hence the underground line will fill with water, rust it out and probably prevent air to the shop....

I like Quincy 2 stage shop compressors over any other brand. For a mobile compressor I liked my Hitachi 2 hp for its fast refill. I've owned Rolair Senco,Emglo & several other brands. They all lasted about the same. I keep clean oil in mine & drain the tanks regularly. Ive never owned a gas powered one because I subcontracted inside trim work & had power on site. A 4 gallon 2 hp unit was plenty to run several trim guns.
