I'm surprised I don't have crawdad mounds in the yard yet as much water we've had this spring. And there's supposed to be more on the way. I know it's humid and uncomfortable today. The season I dislike the most (hot & muggy summer) is upon us gentlemen.

Somehow I'd forgotten some trucks years ago had air powered wipers. I've yet to come across a locomotive that didn't have them...even the really old stuff ('40s & '50s vintage). I've always been told on the locomotives they used air because it's less likely to burn up trying to push snow/ice unlike an electric one. I'm sure there's a better reason, but that works for me. I wonder if that's why they used them on trucks. Or was it along the same reason for air starters...smaller/fewer batteries perhaps? And does anyone still use air starters on trucks? Seems like Roadway was the last company I remember in the western Arkansas part of the world that was still using them.

Got one your willing to "donate" to the project? Just because I'm a railroader doesn't mean I'm made of money. I'm married with children...that should explain EVERYTHING when it comes to my cash flow.

Used the dump trailer to haul four loads of scrap block home from work to build up a staging area where we can park projects when they come in.

Other than church services and a couple hours for a birthday party, I was running full steam all weekend, finally shutting the lift off at 9:14PM Monday!
Sounds like a very busy weekend indeed! Is the F350 where the 7.3L came from that your going to stuff into your C750? I won't say it was an unproductive weekend for me...just the rain kept me from really doing what I wanted/needed to do. Oh well, who really wants to re-paint the house anyway?

Unfortunately (for my wallet) we're on the same financial plan.

This F350 and the 76 hi-boy chassis is what I swapped for a '95 E350 chassis with the 7.3/automatic. I didn't want to let my dump bed to get away so I withheld it.
