I have a '97 F250. For no apparent reason, all of the horn notes quite sounding. The higher pitched ones work but the lower ones don't. Anyone out there that can give me a clue where to look and save me a trip and $$$'s at the dealer's?

I was thinking maybe it got some water in it ...Have you ben thru and big puddles or an automatic car wash lately ? Ive gotten water in horns and it will give them an odd sound . Sometimes they recover sometimes they dont . If water is the cause , maybe blowing them out w some compressed air may revive them ?
