Cool 1999 7.3 missing after setting over nite

Hi I have a 99 f450 4x4 manual trans 7.3. When you start it for the first time after setting over night it misses and will not run above 1500 to 2000 rpm. It starts pretty quick this is at 45 degrees. You can plug it up over nite and it starts and runs as should no problems. Checked codes P0470, p0475 and p1247. When you don't plug it up the engine temp has to get up to about normal before it run like it should. It runs good the rest of the time. New oil and filters and hpop is full of oil. The engine just want run wright when the eng temp is not at about normal operating temp. I need help on this one.

Sounds to me like your GPR (glow plug relay) and/or glow plugs need to be checked.

The P0470 and P0475 are for the Exhaust Back Pressure sensor which is in the front of the engine compartment, in front of your HPOP reservoir. Most likely, the EBP tube coming out the bottom of that sensor is clogged. There are numerous write-ups here on how to remove and clean out.
