ABS Control Module

ABS Control Module
Hi everyone, I have a 1992 F150 4.9 E40D 2WD and I was behind the glove box the other day and noticed my ABS Control Module was unplugged so I plugged it back in and the rear abs light came on. So I unplugged it again, does anyone know if I would need to re program something to have the light shutoff? I had the heater core replaced over a year ago and I think my dads friend forgot to plug it back in when he put it back together. Thanks everyone

No reprogramming necessary. If the light is on then get the fault code and go from there.
Mine was unplugged when I bought my truck. Plugged it in and the light came on during the power up test and then went out like it should. But as I started driving it the speedometer started bouncing and the auto trans went to failsafe mode... I checked it out and came to find out that the ABS controller was screwing with the speed signal, so I took it out, cracked it open, couldn't find anything wrong so I tossed it in the trash. Got a module from the junkyard, same problem. Tossed that in the trash too. I don't need no stinkin' anti-skid brakes...
