front end problems

Ok i have a 2000 ex 7.3 l have problems with front end shakes. Mostly at low speed minor at high speed. i found a bad ball joint on my drag link and changed out the bar and both ball joints. Its gotten better about 20 percent but still a problem. If its a wheel bearing i know to shake wheel at 12 and 6 o clock position with wheel off of the ground. Both front have no play. At 3 and 9 o clock both have a little play is that normal? How to check tie rod ends. I have changed my drivers side hub/wheel bearing assembly about 3 months ago it was scrapeing on the brake dust cover. After fix it was fine.any suggestions or advice well come. I also aired my to tires to max capacity 80 psi today no difference. Frustrated had recent heart problems and facing 54k in medical bills. Dont have money to take to a shop. plz help.

2000 ex limited 7.3 233k miles 4x4

Im not one who has had that problem. Mine was a wanderer. There are some youtube videos on rebuilding the front end--or figuring out what is wrong. I know there have been alignment issues with improper caster and camber settings. I would lower the air pressure to the 50 front 55 rear (assuming stock) Ball joints are usually front end shakers. I assume you did upper and lower on both sides-probably a dumb question. 4WD you might have a bad u joint or out of balance drive shaft. There is a video about wheel wobble on f 250 on youtube you might want to check out Good luck. Someone very knowledgable will be along to correctly diagnose your problem

BTW--go check the tech folder . I checked and saw it has vibrations listed causes and cures. Also pulling on the tires for movement-both directions should be the same

Have someone aggressively work the steering wheel back and forth while you watch all the joints. It's usually pretty obvious. if one is bad. If you have a 4X4 the u-joints could be seized up. They still move when you steer in 2wd. The ball joints could be bad. Use a prybar between the pieces the joint connects to see if you can get them to seperate.

Ill try checking again . I immediately saw the ball joint that goes from tge steering to the tie rod move about 1/2 inch up and down while turning the wheel. So i changed that one first.
