im from6.0 forums where we go with customs tunes from places. are the 6.7 tuners that way also or are they canned tunes? and recommedations on which companies to go with for the tunes if so? my buddy is putting a new engine in one an deleting most uneeded emision stuff.
I used the H&S canned tunes for a while, but I am about to load some custom tunes from Gearhead Tuning. I have seen and heard some good things about their tunes.
i used H&S canned tunes for a over a year. recently switched to gearhead tunes. truck drives a lot better with gearhead and the trans shifts so much better, firm so you know your grabbing gears but smooth.

This what I was talking about above. Sometimes I feel like my trans is searching for a gear with the "canned" tunes.
Yes, there are certain companies that deal with SCT X4, as of now, gearhead is only writing tune for the 6.7 on H&S, but I have heard they are going to start writing them for the SCT tuners. I think the SCT tuners are the only platform available for the 2015 trucks. There are several shops writing custom tunes for the SCT, SPE seems to be one of the more popular ones.
KEM performance, IDP (innovative diesel performance). Not exactly sure what tuners they'll write them on. There's several custom tune companies out there though.
If he's interested in gearhead tunes, he can call them and see if they will be making a package for the SCT tuners soon.
