Let's see everybody's XL's! I am in the market for a new truck within the next year, and am really leaning towards ordering an F350 CC longbox 4x4 with a 6.7 in XL trim.
I'm currently driving a '94 F350 CC 4x4 with a 7.3 PSD. I love my truck, but kind of sick of throwing money at it. In the last three years I've put in Baby swamps injectors, glow plugs, glow plug harness's, Swamps tuned TS6 chip. New turbo with a 1.0 housing, and billet wheel, and bellowed up-pipes. e-fuel, 3" downpipe, 5" exhaust, open air cleaner. I completely rebuilt the front end, custom leaf springs on all four corners, new bilsteins, new redhead steering box, new drive lines front and rear. New flywheel and Southbend clutch, PMF traction bars, new wheels and tires, gauges, and the list just goes on. I haven't added up the receipts, but I must have 20k into this truck. I still need to intercool it, among other things. I have done all of the work myself, and am just wanting to drive a capable truck that I don't have to wrench on anymore.
Would love to see pictures of some XL's. Especially if they are not white, but white will work too.
This is a cab/chasis, but I ordered it with cruise, sync, XL decor and power equipment, XL value pack etc.. and a few other niceties. Then I added a chrome grill, fog lights, chrome steps, 6" nav head unit with reverse as well as taking out the jump seat and adding center console (there are people that will trade if you have a match) also added factory sub and traded a member here some of the interior trim to dress it up. I can send pics of specifics if you need to see something.
Thanks Cabindoc! That is one beautiful truck. That's is what I plan to do, order one how I want it, then change a few things, like stereo, wheels etc..
