fresh air vents?
#2
Fresh air is sourced from the cowl's grill below the windshield.
To clean out the bowls, pull the large oval rubber plug up inside and behind the front wheels and vacuum. Then fashion a hook out of a coat hanger and use a slow trickle of water while ya remove debris from the vent bowls' drain hole. Using large volumes of water should be avoided until it runs nearly free or else it could overflow into the cab and floor pan.

I cleaned my cowl side bowls or troughs out by removing the fresh air plenum on the passenger side kick panel, and the vent on the driver's side (actually, at the time, I only had a metal plate covering this access hole.)
In the above pic, the rubber plug HIO is talking about is visible, if you want to go at this from the wheel well.
