outside air vent cover
outside air vent cover
Anyone done/seen this done?
Would think with a mesh net it would help keep a lot of rain and junk out and be easier to clean out then down inside the air channels.
Id prefer small, weld/seal-able, paint-able with a mesh net.

I like it, certainly would reduce lot of the debris. Appears to be low profile with a minimal imprint and imagine the scoop would provide better air flow. Also prefer some type of mesh screen but installing could be problematic?
yeah, thats kinda what i thought was the instalation would suck. might have to find a different more permanent attatching model
at a minimum i would think it would keep leaves and regular wash down rain out and be easy to swipe your hand through.
i think all that drains (what doesnt clog) out the bottom drain hole, so it might help avoid some of that water getting in in the first place. it would have to be a water tight attatchment.
