08+ manual mirrors with turn signals?

Hi,

There is alot of talk on here about putting 2008-2011 style mirrors on 1999-2007 trucks, so I know they fit pretty easily. However, most of the discussions are about the full power heated models.

My 2004 has non heated non power mirrors and they work just fine. They are a bit weathered and lately the mirror has not held position as well as it used to.

So I figured I would upgrade:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2008-2012-FORD-SUPER-DUTY-SD-F250-350-450-MANUAL-EXTENDING-FOLDING-MIRRORS-SET/321654863652?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27705%26meid%3D3853e59901244f1ea16f4f8cdb260659%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D271781671655&rt=nc
My question is, did Ford ever offer a non power/ non heated mirror with turn signals? Would be cool to have those for sure. Ive seen an aftermarket mirrors like that on ebay, but would MUCH rather have used/ new take off OEM.

Think thats a pretty good price?

THANKS!

I looked at those exact ones too and it is a good price for OEM but wanted the turn signals. I bought the aftermarket ones you are talking about for 220.00 that manualy telescope and have the turn signals that dont heat and chose no heat as I dont have heat now and to me its a waist. The OEMs are why over priced to me so I'm going to give these a try and if I'm not happy with them in the future then at least I have them on and can replace one at a time.If it warms up then I'm putting them on today.

Wow glad I posted. How do they feel in your hand? Who is the manufacturer. I have used aftermarket replacement composite headlights before (on a grand cherokee) and they looked pretty good.

I think im just going to pull the trigger on those full manual ones, really do not need another project right now. I would love to here how your wiring experience goes. I read that that the easiest thing to do is wire them directly to the headlights.

Another manual set with signals. pages like this just scare me away, all the broken english!

Well just bought the OEM takeoffs. $211 shipped seems like a great price, probably the cost of 1 from the dealer considering that the new power ones are $1000+! That is really just ridiculous. Im just glad they still offer the manual ones for the work trucks.

They look factory and feel solid and so far I'm very pleased.I installed them on my truck yesterday but I ended up having to take my Father in law to the Hospital so I didnt get them wired but I'm going to tap into my running lights so I can run them with just the running lights if I want and then of course the other part to each turn signal.

Ford never offered the option. If you have turn signals in the mirrors they also have heat and power adjustment.

Power telescope and fold were a different package though.

Thanks alot guys for the info. I think the new square mirrors are just what my truck needs. Rob, jealous that your truck is a stick shift! One day mine will have a 5.9L 12V and a 5spd

Ok so I got the mirrors on today. I think they look pretty great and the mirrors themselves are HUGE! Only thing I have to say is take the bottom nut off first and pull it out with a magnet. This one has the biggest risk of being dropped into the door.

One of my used (well new take off) mirrors was missing the insolation and the nuts. The stuff off the old mirror fit just fine!

Only mod that you have to do for the full manual ones is cut this plastic piece off. I have heard that some drill the body, but I did not see the need. They lined up just fine without it.

Nice, but I def gotta have heated mirrors. Now that I have it I wouldn't go without it. This winter I was wishing I had heated wipers as well!

I soldered and shrunk rapped both sets as I dont have the harnesses but so far just did the running lights.I have the colors for the turn signals but still have to track them down. They are very nice, dont vibrate, clear mirror glass and what a difference!!!
