anyone used an "economy" replacement rear bumper?

mine needs replaced, so i'm looking at the economy replacements (ie: ebay, rockauto, etc). looking to go to a painted one. so finish isn't an issue, more so fitment and stiffness.. i don't want to step on the corner and have it fold, haha. i get the whole "get what you pay for" school of thought (to which i stick to for most things), but thought for something that's primarily aesthetic these may work.

anyone have any real-world experience on these year trucks?

I've never bought a bumper, but I did buy a pre-painted fender for my daughters car on e-bay when she was short of money. The fit and color match wasn't bad but it rusted through from the inside in 4 years. I wound up replacing it with one from a salvage yard which I should have done in the first place.

A lot of "economy" replacement parts are cheap low quality made in China. they usually fit - more or less-- with a bit of fiddling and rust out fast. There are good American made bumpers out there but they are more costly.
