1995 f150 5.8l crossover pipe (y-pipe) help
I've got a 1995 f150 351 4x4 extended cab short bed automatic that is annoyingly loud because it needs a new crossover pipe and whole new exhaust. I found one on summit for $57 but it says it's for a 1980-81, was wondering if this would work on my truck because I'm not paying the $300 bucks for the bassani one with the cat on it. If this one doesn't work what are some others that will?

Also it appears that the manifolds are studded to attach the y pipe, is this correct? I am 95% sure the bolts are going to break off when I go to remove the old y pipe. Do I need to get new manifolds too or do the bolts/studs hammer out? Or can I drill all the way through the manifold where the bolts/studs are and just run new bolts?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance guys!

I have never run across that y-pipe before. I question whether it really fits a Windsor or not. There is mention it fits the 6.6L engine of that time period which is a 335 series engine that has very little in common with a Windsor. There was a de-stroked version of the 6.6L(400ci) 351M that shares the same cubic inch as the 351W, but once again it's a very different engine.
Why not get the Walker y-pipe that is supposed to fit? Walker 15849 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/wlk-15849/
It's a little cheaper here: RockAuto WALKER Part # 15849
Plus if you venture down to the vendor area there is a discount coupon available. Search on RockAuto....a site sponsor!
