Would it be worth building the 360 and just using that or is the 351w a better option? The truck is a farm/work truck. Daily driver. tows trailers and does alot of hauling and work

for hauling i would put a diesel in. better mileage and better power.

I gotta ask, why a 4spd swap in place of a really tough auto you already have. You won't gain overdrive, you won't gain towing ability either.

If you just "want" a manual, I have been there and you want what you want.

360 is not a great engine IMO, I am not an FE fan but a 390 or 428 would make it worth a swap.

Find a ZF5/351 truck to buy and drive or use as a swap veh. or try to find a Windsor BH for that old 4spd.

I have always enjoyed shifting and would rather shift. I guess it's just want because I want it. Maybe stupidity.. if I got the 360 I would probably make it a 390. I have a 360 in my other truck and I love that motor. It spins the tires on a dually dump truck and it's LOUD
