A really strange problem cropped up tonight driving home. In 2wd the 4x4 indicator light started to blink randomly (sometimes rapidly) along with the lights in the armrest switches and the rear sliding window switch lights. Along with that, there is a corresponding clicking solenoid sound coming from behind the dash on the driver's side.

The 4wd and low range, as well as the 2wd all seem to operate normally, so this is more of a nuisance but I'm thinking it's not a good thing.

No codes.

Truck is 2003 with a 5.4L engine, supercrew in really good shape, 95k miles.
