I'm having a lot of trouble finding the upper rear door latch cover for a 2006 F150 extened cab. I've attached several pictures for reference.

On the inside it says: 5L34-15519C39-A

3525 CAV 8 LH

PP C 1868

All I seem to find is forum links that go nowhere. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

 

DON'T KNOW ABOUT A NEW ONE BUT I CAN TELL YOU HOW I FIXED MINE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. GO TO HARDWARE STORE WITH THE STOCK BOLT AND GET TWO BOLTS 1/2 INCH LONGER THAN STOCK. ALSO GET TWO 1/4 BY 1 INCH FLAT WASHERS. THE HOLE IN THE COVER IS TAPERED AND THE WASHERS STOP ABOUT HALF THE WAY DOWN AND SECURE THE COVER. DON'T OVER TIGHTEN ...JUST SNUG TIGHT

 

The striker/latch cover is considered part of the headliner assembly if you order through Ford for about $25. The grey one for my truck was part # 4L3Z15264B83AAB

 

They are also available online from eBay and Tasca Parts. Search for Ford F150 Interior Door Latch Cover. The part fits all extended cabs from 2005 thru 2010. Part number in earlier post is correct for flint color. Tasca lists them for about $31. Hope this is some help. It is a snap to put in -- 2 screws.

 

This is the ID Engineering number .. not the part number.

No part numbers have been marked on parts since 1956, just casting or ID Engineering numbers (when applicable).
