Help identifying this tonneau cover
I bought the truck with this cover on it and I've been trying to track down exactly what it is. I've come across pictures of others like it, so it's not a one-off, but I haven't been able to find any info on who made it. Anyone have any info or ideas?
Thanks!
I've since replaced the gas shocks on the lid so there's no longer a need for the stick.

Ha! Thanks!
I'm back and forth on it. I kinda like it, but I also really like the clean look of it with the cover off.
Here's another one that's very similar to mine. The description claims that it's a factory cover (for what it's worth).

It's a gypo (aftermarket), Ford never offered any tonneau cover like this.

I have a softopper (4yrs old now and had a leer on our old 2005) and I like the ability to cover and uncover the bed in a few minutes without having the hassle of dealing with a fiberglass topper when towing our GN trailer. I’m in California so not really tested by the weather aside from the sun, but it still looks really good. The topper is probably up 25% of the time. There are a few negatives that are not much of an issue at least for us:
- putting on the rear panel (next to the cab) is a bit of a PITA
- the canvas cover gets pretty tight when cold, so snapping it to the bottom rail is also a PITA
