66 F100 352 Thrust Plate
I am rebuilding my 66 352. I received a new trust plate from NPD (p/n 6269-4) but it does not match the old plate. The oil groove on the old is much longer that on the new one. The new groove is just a very small notch. See the attached photo showing both plates. You will be lucky to see the notch on the new plate it is so small.
Is this new plate OK to install or should I purchase another one from someone else? If so who?
Thanks in advance for your help.

D3TZ-6269-A (replaced C3AZ-6269-A) .. Camshaft Thrust Plate / Obsolete
Applications: All 1963/71 Passenger Cars & 1965/76 F100/350's with FE engines.
1958/62 FE engines did not use a camshaft thrust plate.
The plate that NPD is selling is probably D3TZ-6269-A which is a different design than the 1963/72 C3AZ-6269-A original.
No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has C3AZ-6269-A
