Time to thin the heard

Last weekend I bought a 74 Maverick , Next weekend I Plan on picking up a 53 short bed and maybe a couple of parts trucks , So I need to get rid of something . As the 54 panel is much rarer and has a modern drive train , I will be putting the 56 F250 up for sale . Can I expect to get $10,000 for it ?

Not with that wet seat, you won't.

That's a fair price, for a ready to use vehicle.

Saw a Mav. like that at a PA car show. Had a 460 in it. Looked factory, the installation was that good.

I think a '56, even a 250, with known good paint, rust repaired and photos to prove it, and a rebuilt engine, should go for more than that. I'd think closer to $15k.

It sure does look nice...but it might depend on the condition of the portions not pictured. Such as the suspension, wiring, frame and general under side.
A set of center caps and trim rings would help add appeal - it does have a lot of black trim.

Why would you pick up a Maverick if it meant having to lose a working truck?

I have a 54 panel , as my everyday drive . The Maverick takes me back to my youth as I had one when I was 19 . That car took me from skiing in Canada to the beaches of Daytona , Bike races in Laconia , Pennsylvania and western NY . Trips all through New England . I would love to be able to do it all over again . I get my enjoyment from the build and I like the oddball stuff that nobody else has . Plus I see another truck in my future , Maybe next week .

Ah, that makes sense!

You shouldn't have a problem finding a good willing buyer for that truck.
Again, it looks nice. Might want to advertise it including a photo of it pulling the car...helps add utility compared to 1/2 tons.

It's a really nice truck. It won't go down by 5000.00 in ten years like the other 10,000.00 3/4 tons out there. I'm like you. I keep them moving. There is always something else I am seeking. Good luck in the sale of a very capable real truck. I wouldn't need caps or trim rings. It looks very '3/4 ton as it is. And that's a good thing to me and others who want to tow or haul some serious loads.

Sweet lookin truck!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hunters have a saying
"It's not the kill,,, It's the thrill of the chase"
Once a build is complete, the chase is kinda over.
Time to build another and ya just can't keep em all.
Go get em Dr.

Location, Location, Location.

That truck is worth more than $10,000 in California. Probably at least $15K. I have no idea if it will bring $10,000 in your area.

But I would start higher than $10K anyway. You can always come down. If I needed a truck, I'd give you $10,000 for it. And I'm sure you have more than that in it.

That's a nice truck.
