1955 Rear wall carpet

I need some ideas on how to proceed with this.

I purchased the formed ABS rear wall from Mid Fifty. I have the carpet. Is it better to try and put the top edge of the plastic and carpet under the weather stripping or start just below with a finished edge? Also, on the edges by the door should that also be a finished edge or fold around he plastic?

Any advice or ideas would be great.

Mid fifty sells stainless steel formed step plates for the door sills to cover the carpet edge and give a finished look when the door is opened. The back wall in my panel has two doors in it so I can't help much there.
