What does drip edge patch panel look like?

What does drip edge patch panel look like?
The drip edge patch panels for 1973-79 pickups available through Motorhaven do not include a picture or description. Dennis Carpenter catalog also does not have a picture and when I called them, they could not describe it or produce a picture (they probably come from same supplier). I've been reluctant to buy these until I know I can use them.
I would like to know if the part is just the drip edge or does it include sheet metal extending back along the roof or door jamb a few inches.
How long is the drip edge-just along the top of the cab or all the way down the door jamb? Anyone know? or have a picture?
