Cold side RiffRaff CAC boot beside fuel bowl getting cut

I have the RiffRaff Diesel CAC boot set at all locations. I noticed that the one up top rubs on the fuel bowl where it widens out. It has started to develop a cut but I don't think it's gone through yet.

They have been on for 2 years and 61,000 miles.

Anyone else have this happen?

You might want to loosen the clamps on both boots and see if you can reposition the tube.

There should be 1/4"-3/8" clearance from the boot so something might not be lined up correctly, we haven't see that before.

I have about 3/8" or so clearance with mine. My truck is a late 2004 with oem CAC pipes.

Did you ever figure anything out. I was doing stuff last night and noticed this.

I tried to move it but I can not move the Cac tube at all?

That's what I was going to do today. I have the boot pushed all the way on the intake elbow like the factory one was. So are you saying move the boot more on the tube

The other thing you might try doing is loosening the intake elbow and rotating it a bit also. It won't move much but a just a little bit will mean a lot.
