I wasn't sure at what temperature you needed to be concerned about your fuel gelling. It's going to be getting down to 12 F here in NC so it made me wonder at what point to be concerned? I don't think that is cold enough but I wasn't sure. Thanks

That IS cold enough to be concerned with regular #2D. Do the stations in your area pretreat the fuel?
NEVER reply on the station to do it and if they do to do it right!!!
Use Powerservice (white bottle) and add what you need. You can double-dose with no problems and will protect you even better.
If your fuel were to gell-up.... you would have gladly used the entire bottle if you knew it would protect you!!! The cost and hassle of having your truck towed and fuel filters replaced is more than a bottle or two of anti-gel fuel additive.
I like Powerservice due to cost and availability at truck stops and Walmart.

I used Powerservice year round. White bottle in winter, grey in summer. My truck sits outside and I haven't had any issues with gelling. Lowest temp I have seen is -14F with windchill around -30F.
