Radio install 95 F250 different colors then diagrams

So I have a pioneer radio im trying to install in my 95 f250. My problem is I have a wiring adapter for the pioneer, but it only has 11 wires ( one of which is a remote wire) and my stock system has 15 wires, 8 on the left connector, 7 on the right. My second problem is every wiring diagram i can find does not match the actual colors of wires I have under the dash. This is a list of the colors I have in the order they appear.

LEFT CONNECTOR(from bottom to top):
pink/brown
pink/blue
green/orange
white/green
tan/yellow
pink/green
blue/white
orange/green

RIGHT CONNECTOR(from bottom to top):
green/black
green/black
orange/black
blue/red
yellow/black
black
green/purple

If anyone has this same problem please HELP!!!

Do you have a harness? There is an ISO standard for those colors but OEMs don't abide by them.

Unless I am missing something about what you are trying to do, get one of these.

Metra/Scosche are 2 brands.

Match up the colors on the pioneer harness to the new harness and plug it in. I have done many of the early to late fords and I always used a harness.

You can get them for a few bucks online or best buy for 15 or so dollars.

One harness is for the speakers and the other is for power/ground/constant. Stuff like that.

Good luck. I hope this helped. You certainly can splice into your truck wiring but this is just another idea that may help.

Hey thanks for the reply. What Im trying to do is splice the stock wires into the pioneer connector I have with the radio. The speaker wires I have figured out, but what im really stuck on is the ground wires.

This is the best description of what I have and actually I just found it.

The two GREEN/BLACK ground wires make no sense to me because there is already a black ground wire. Can you tell me if I should just leave the two grn/blk wires disconnected and just connect the black ground?

As long as the pioneer harness black is going to chassis, you should be good.

Since I have always used a harness, I have never noticed the multiple green/blacks. If your main concern is the ground wire, you could just put a 0 ring connector on the black pioneer wire and secure it under a bolt to the chassis somewhere. That would certainly work.

You really only need 2 wires from that seconds harness. 12 volt, and ignition (which I think you figured out). The ground can go under a metal bolt that is bolted to something metal.

EDIT: Just looked at the diagram. all 3 of those (black and the black and greens) go to a ground. Just grounded to different locations. Probably just to support different factory configurations.

You could always probe with a multi-meter to be sure but any of those should work.

Good luck!
