Did FORD equip power steering on 67-72 F600s ?

I have manual steering box on my 67 F600 (the supercab project)... and I would love to convert to power steering without having to change a bunch of other parts or adapt another type of box

Im wondering if Gemmer made power steering boxes for the f600s.. or another company that ford used ..in this era.. the later F600 PS box (73-79) has a different (much larger) shaft that wont work with the rest of the steering gear

Thank you

There are dozens of parts used with this P/S system. Which one would you like NOS?

Yes they did. I have a '67' F250 Camper Special with power steering. The brake booster is a cute little thing, but if you have an fe block there isn't much room for anything bigger.

If you can't find steering box at a wrecker to rebuild I'm pretty sure LMC trucks has them.

Light duty boxes are easy to source .... its a medium duty box that harder to source... the brake system and steering box mounting is entirely different
Thanks all

Thanks for the pics... they are really helpful... if I can ask you one last favor ... can you measure the diameter of the output shaft... the large one that goes to the steering arm... then I'll know if its a direct bolt up conversion where all I have to do is fan the high and lo pressure lines and equip the motor with an appropriate pump

I had put it in your other thread about the supercab conversion. It was right about 1 1/2".
