PCV Valve? Hose Assembly?

PCV Valve? Hose Assembly?
So is there a PCV Valve on this generation of F150s? I thought there was a hose coming out of the passenger side valve cover; but when I called the dealer to inquire about the availability of the part, he said "its only to be serviced when servicing the valve cover"
What the heck? I figured it was time to replace it since my mileage has dropped a little bit lately. Truck has 45k on it. Any thoughts?

my 06 expedition has the PCV valve integrated into the driver's side valve cover. I assume the newer ones are the same, but that may not be the case.
the owner's manual only says to check the pcv system flow at 100k or 150k, and that the pcv valve is not a item that gets serviced.
on the passenger's side valve cover, there is just a 1/8" hose fitting on which a hose connects up to the breather box by the throttle body.
I took all the hoses off mine to "check the system flow" and could tell absolutely nothing. it flows, but how much. if you plug the air inlet, it pulls a vacuum, and when you unplug the inlet you hear a rush of air going through the tube. so it flows, but how adequately is anyone's guess.
I've asked the question here in the modular engine forum, and nobody else seems to know how to test the system flow either.
I think the dealer gave you the correct information. the pcv valve is only serviced by replacing the driver's side valve cover. There is likely a pcv heater on the intake that can be replaced, but the pcv valve itself is integral to the valve cover.
to the best of my research, anyway.
I think what you are referring to is the pcv valve air inlet check valve, which mine does not have. but the actual pcv valve should be in the driver's side valve cover.

The 4.6L has a normal, serviceable PCV valve.
