My German Mistress

Haven't posted for a while; still driving my "50 F1 but my German Mistress is demanding a lot of my time right now.

Bought a "59 VW Bug" which I have taken motor and transaxle out of for rebuild. Both were leaking oil so decided take out and re-seal, but now rebuild for both. I get trans back next week and will install it, motor will be be back this spring. Found a craftsman that has done vw motors all his life, so I'm in good hands.

I'll post pics soon, need more storage space, and new place to live if I keep adding vehicles.

My brother has been restoring a bug for his wife. The mechanical work is finished. It's out for paint at the moment.

Good looking bug. I think we are all addicted to "more projects"

Good luck with it

Dang!
It was 60 degrees here today. I was working outside in a T shirt.
I got the tractor Massey Ferguson TO35 that I've been putting back together started, ran it around back and hooked the blade to it so that I can do some work on the blade. Since I was moving stuff around I hauled the 26 Model T roadster pick-up body to the backyard and out of the driveway.

I'll try and get some pictures posted of both projects soon

Stay warm up there
Bobby

I also have a German mistress......well.....twins.....

I started by only spending a little here and there, but no full rebuild....

But now after some rehab, I'm living up to my self-vow to spend all automotive money on my truck only, until its done!

The German twins?
