2013 leaking radiator

Same story, smelling it for a while. Finally saw it dripping. Only to look under the hood and see an empty reservoir. Not real happy about the situation I use this truck for work, its sitting at the dealer, they havent told me its going to be replaced yet. Makes me glad I bought the premiacare plan!.. driving around this pos 07 f150 loaner is getting old real quick. 45k miles is an awesome lifespan for radiators nowadays I guess

Only thing I can advise is for everyone to keep reporting it to NHTSA. This is an on going issue since 2008.

Mishimoto radiator will be going into mine. I am loosing coolant, don't know where, it's at a slow rate, but the whole plastic crimped edges baffle me. Mishimoto has a lifetime warranty, so I at least know that I will get a new one for free or just shipping costs every time that one dies. I have spent more on truck upgrades then the cost of the radiator.

Report problems here:
Recalls & Defects | National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)

May eventually help others. Is this a safety issue? Could be in my eyes.

Send me your information in a PM so I can help, suzuki0702. I'll need your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership.

Complaint submited to NHTSA so what will happen to all the guys that came out of pocket to fix it if something is ever done and they own the problem?

Continential tires had a recall back in 2010 I think it was. I submitted my invoice for replacement tires and they reimbursed me.

There would also need to be many many complaints.

Fantastic news, suzuki0702! Sounds like you have an awesome dealership. Don't hesitate to give me a shout if there's anything I can help with in the future.
