tis the season for deer and one hit me

so a deer committed suicide this am on my truck!!!!

I am wanting to get a good bumper the one I like the best is the buckstop baja but 2k is a little steep for my budget

I can get a ranchand for 1350 locally

Ranch Hand ? Ford Super Duty 2004 Legend Front Bumper Replacement | Ludens, Inc

I want a wrap around with a 2" receiver hitch in it so I can use my 16k winch

does any one make weld together kits I see there is a place that does for Toyota and jeeps nice bumpers too

nwtrailinnovations.com

any Ideas welcome

If you can weld, can you not fabricate your own one of a kind bumper exactly how you want it?

I've looked at a lot of bumpers and reasoned this out, basically my conslusion is that a bumper that will withstand a dear hit will be at least $1200. My insurance deductible is $500.

I'm with ya on that one. The ones with the grille guards (actual heavy duty metal) might prevent damage to the grille and hood. But maybe not and insurance can fix a hood and grille too.

I do like the look of that ranch hand bumper for sure and would like that front receiver option also. But there are probably other things I could/should spend $1300 on. Like one month of daycare

http://www.ebay.com/itm/351088615389?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
this is the one I really like but omg they want a fortune
Heavy Duty Winch Bumpers for Ford Superduty F250, F350, F450, F550, Excursion Trucks Baja Model by BUCKSTOP Truckware

was thinking get the one off ebay and I have a buddy that owns a muffler shop and he says we can bend some tubing up we will have to experiment in what he can bend how thick and still maintain its shape

Don't forget to factor in the increase in insurance premiums. They will get you one way or another...

And you trust that? Keep an eye on your next renewal and see what nebulus "change in anticipated claims in your area" is cited as the reason for your premium increase.
