Running hotter after oil cooler repair
Good morning y'all!
After I changed out my oil cooler gaskets and o-rings this week, I refilled all fluids, let the truck warm up for a little while and get up to pressure, I checked and topped off fluids. When I took it for a drive, I noticed that it was running hotter than normal. It wasn't out of the "Normal" range, but it got close. I had no leaks and fluids were still in good shape. Any ideas of what might cause this?

oil coolant
I thought that it might be a purge issue, but the system should purge self back into the coolant reservoir, since that is the high point. I swapped the heater line around at the oil filter and it has not ran as hot. I think I might have fixed the problem. Thank you for your help.
