Well got it all put back together, really not able to test drive it. Have a really bad hub bearing, that I'm waiting for parts on(seals)

Is it common to have long crank times after "Cody test" and getting air into the injectors or did I mess something up while putting it back together. I check for oil/fuel leaks, found none.

Crank time seems to be improving but still a lot longer than before.
Original crank time: maybe 2 secs
Current crank time: appx 5-8 secs

Absolutely normal until you drive the air out. They say 50 miles, I sometimes have better luck with 100 miles.

Have you checked your brakes? Dragging or stuck slide pins?

Yes, that was the first thing I looked at. No signs of sticking or dragging. Wheels spins free while in the air even after brake application.

Looks like the problem is solved.....it was a clog(dirty) air cleaner. Who would of thought that would kill fuel mileage that bad.

Still get some smoke on WOT though, might be some other small(I hope) issue.

seriously a dirty air cleaner.. you should be flogged with a wet noodle and hung out to dry.. FIRST rule of engine running, especially diesel with turbo is they need AIR.. lots of it.

get rid of the K&N and get a real filter like a AIS or 6637 with petes cover. etc. glad you figured it out with out a whole lot of work.
