Got the Gearhead SLR+ loaded and notice that my VTG doesn't cycle like it used to. I see about 70 at idle and around the 30s at WOT... but really anything in between at anytime. Sometimes it even seems to be pretty high when just going down the road, like 43 today at about 45mph. Don't seem to have the turbo farts that much either... wondering if the vanes are sticking.

Anybody have or see this same thing? Pretty sure Matt played with the VTG to eliminate the lag, as long at it's moving, think it's OK?

Picked up an 03 turbo last night for $60, will rebuild it and have it ready.

 

Mine still cycles it's just a wider range.

 

Mine acts the same regardless of stock or tuned.
