Heater/Air control problem
#16
You might just fix it when you repair the broken line. The reservoir acts just like the tin can that some of us put on the older vehicles with vacuum wipers. It provides a reserve of vacuum, similar to a pressure vessel on an in ground well system. The advantage of a vacuum system is that it uses diaphragms or pistons to move mechanical devices to do work efficiently and it is easy to control. Once you get that pump so it does not run all the time, you will most likely find that the hubs and heating system works ok.
