I like OEM radios, nice big buttons basic controls etc. My recently acquired 98 is just am/fm. My old 2004 had an OEM cd player. Looks like they are not backwards compatible? Or perhaps I am looking at the wrong resource?

Anyone have any insight? If no OEM options exist does anyone have a suggested radio?

Chances are good they'll physically fit, the only real issue then would be factory wiring harness compatibility. Luckily Crutchfield sells adapters that can be used to create a DIY wiring connector harness to mate the '04 unit to the '98 chassis wiring.
